Bird Makes a Terrible Swimsuit Model

Well, supposedly summer is here despite the fact that it is about 50 degrees where I am, and I'm wearing a long sleeved shirt and a fuzzy sweater. But in spite of it, because of the fact that my RLJ is FINALLY DONE (for now), I spent some time working on new ideas for swimsuits.

Ever since the Invisible Woman suit was commissioned, I got into the idea of making one piece suits. It was a concept I'd played around with initially, but ultimately discarded:

Thor and Loki were my first two full suits, which I ultimately gave a resounding "meh" to.

But after I made the Invisible Woman suit, I also found myself with another commission from my friend Shae for a suit based off of the Marvel character Fairchild from Gen13. It was a simple design, and worked pretty well for a one piece suit:

Did I ever mention that I finished Bird? Because I totally finished Bird. Well, in the sense that his body is mostly done, though he doesn't have his head stripes or wings or feet or - oh, just look at the suit!

So now I'm kind of pushing forward with this style in mind. Not sure when - or even if - I'll put the one piece designs online for sale, but I've got a prototype done for a Rogue suit, which I personally like the style of:

Crappy picture in crappy lighting, but you get the idea.

In addition, I also want to start working on an old-school Scarlet Witch style suit, so that may be coming soon. Either way, here are some ideas for superhero swimsuit styles; if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to make them! For now I'm just playing around, though, so maybe I'll continue to post them as they pop into existence. Maybe. We'll see!
