I just wanted to post this somewhere (and I'm not planning on providing a link to this post - it's mainly just for me), but I'm really damn pleased and kind of amazed to say that I finally finished Dominion Jar. I've been working on it forever, and have been putting off the final edits for just about that long because I was scared, probably stupidly, of what that meant.
Of course, now that it's over, I realize that finishing it really means nothing. Since I don't have grand plans for the book, basically it just means that a few people who know me will probably go ahead and try to read it (if they haven't already), so if nothing else I'll have some extra people looking at my stuff. Here's hoping they like it, and here's hoping I eventually figure out how to post it somewhere properly!
I'm sort of thinking that I may just wait until the end of June, which is when I'm hoping to have a readable copy of the second book ready for my test readers/people with much tried patience. We'll see. I'm so neurotic about this stuff...
